Led by Yisroel and Sarah Pinson in collaboration with Rabbi Shlomo and Devorah Elkan of Chabad at Oberlin College, the alumni community will be based in Brooklyn, where Oberlin graduates can come together for meaningful Jewish experiences and connection. Since so many Oberlin alumni settle in NYC after they graduate, there is a strong need to create Jewish programs geared towards the liberal arts college graduate. The Pinsons will engage with alumni around the world as well, by connecting them with Jewish infrastructure wherever they are. As artists and writers who enjoy bringing people together, Yisroel and Sarah (and their baby Chatche) are excited to launch this project, and utilize the creative experiences that NYC has to offer for the alumni programming.
